We are SO excited to kick off the new school year with our FIRST Friday Night Function (FNF) on September 5th, 7-9pm at Westpark Church (955 Gainsborough Rd)!! The night will include fun lawn games, an ice cream sundae bar, and musical worship! 🍨🎶

Power to Change (P2C) is a Christian club at Western where students come together to grow in faith and build friendships.

Our heart is for every student to experience the hope, love, and transformation that Jesus brings, and to live that out on campus and in our community. 🙌

Throughout the year, we host small groups, Friday Night Functions (FNFs), prayer nights, and fun events to help you connect and grow in your relationships with both the club community and with Christ.

He is Risen!🤍 Death could not hold Him. The grave has been defeated. Jesus is alive, and through Him, we are made new!

Today we celebrate the greatest victory, not just a moment, but the beginning of eternal hope, restored relationship, and unshakable joy.

Holy Saturday reminds us of the quiet in-between.
The waiting. The wondering. The weight of grief before the joy of resurrection.

Today, we sit in that silence, remembering the disciples’ sorrow, the stillness of the tomb, and the hope that had not yet risen. But even in the silence, God was not absent. He was still moving, still working, still writing the final chapter of redemption. Tomorrow, we celebrate. But tonight, we wait.🤍

Happy Good Friday friends🤍. Today we remember the greatest act of love, Jesus laying down His life for us on the cross. Good Friday is not just about sorrow, but about hope. Because through His sacrifice, we’ve been given freedom, forgiveness, and the promise of new life. ‘It is finished.’ (John 19:30)✝️

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week🌿, the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and greeted by crowds waving palm branches.

As we enter Holy Week, may we slow down and reflect on the weight of what’s to come: the betrayal, the sacrifice, and ultimately, the hope of resurrection. ✝️
Let’s walk this journey with Him.

APRIL is HERE and you know what that means👀👀… it’s time to say Y.E.S. to our favourite night of the year!!🙈 P2C Western’s Year End Soirée (Y.E.S.) is just around the corner!!❣️🎉🥳

This is our final club-wide gathering of the 2024-2025 year (😭😭). It’s a night to celebrate everything God has done in and through our community this year, and we’re going out with a bang!🙂‍↕️🤪! Expect an awesome dinner, a sweet send-off for our grads, and of course… a dance floor calling your name!💃🕺👯‍♀️

We’ll also be recognizing this year’s amazing leaders and welcoming in some of our incoming leaders for next year!👏

Here’s the details 📝📝

Date: Friday, April 4th 🗓️
Time: 6:30 PM 🕡
Location: North Park Community Church (1510 Fanshawe Park Rd E) ⛪️
No registration needed — just come as you are!💟

Dinner is potluck-style, and we’re asking each year to bring a different category of food:
• 1st Years – Drinks (juice, pop, etc.)🥤🧃
• 2nd Years – Appetizers & Dessert (chips, veggie trays, spring rolls, cupcakes… be creative!)🍤🧁
• 3rd & 4th Years – Main Courses (pasta, fried rice, casseroles, pizza, etc.)🍖🍔🍛

This night is all about celebrating God’s faithfulness, enjoying good food, sharing memories, and spending time with the people who’ve made this year so special. Whether you’ve been around all year or just joined us recently, we’d LOVE to see you there!

Hey P2C Fam … we cannot believe that the time is already here, our LAST fnf😭!! We are incredibly excited to end the year with the theme “God is Faithful” with guest speaker pastor Josh Black from north park church!🤍🤍

Josh is the Youth Pastor at North Park Community Church. He is a husband to Bre and a father to Nash and Lake. He loves fishing, board games, and coffee. 🎣🎲☕️

We cannot wait to get together one last time for a FNF, and hope you can all make it out :)

You are invited 📫 to our annual Festival of Planning (FOP)!! 🥳 We promise it’ll be a bop & not a flop! 😉 This is a time where we gather as a community to remember, celebrate & reflect upon what Jesus has done in our community this past year!! 🙌 It is also a space to discern, vision & dream about how we can continue to partner well with the Spirit on campus! 🤝
