Join us on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM in the Physics Atrium of the Physics and Astronomy Building for Heart2Heart: Saving Lives Together, hosted by the AED Student Awareness Team and sponsored by Philips and Action First Aid. This interactive event will offer hands-on CPR and AED training, along with a presentation on Western Universityâs new AED campus plan.
Throughout the day, youâll hear from five inspiring guest speakers, including a cardiologist, a paramedic, a cardiac arrest survivor, and a family member who has lost a loved one to cardiac arrest. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and upon completing the training, each participant will receive a free CPR and AED course voucher (which can be used or shared), a special gift, and a certificate badge that can be added to your LinkedIn profile.
To secure your spot, please email Danijela Jelich at djelich@uwo.ca . Your spot will be confirmed, and we will send you further information on how to pay the $10 ticket fee. There are only 50 spots available, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds will go directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
