April was another incredible month for SERT!

This month, we had the chance to celebrate our responders at our year-end awards, visit Middlesex-London EMS, and most importantly spend time together as a team. From celebrating everyone’s hard work to enjoying the sunshine and making memories together, April gave us the opportunity to reflect on an amazing year and appreciate the people who make this team so special.

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, we want to thank all of our responders for the dedication, compassion, and countless hours they have put into serving the campus community. This team is built on friendship, support, and a shared passion for helping others, and we are so grateful for every member who helped make this year unforgettable.

Here’s to an amazing year and an even better one ahead ❤️

How well do our responders really know their gear?

Our responders put their skills to the test by trying to identify SERT equipment using only their sense of touch. Some guesses were spot on... others not so much.

Watch to see who got it right!

SERT Awards was the perfect way to wrap up such an amazing year. Getting to celebrate together, reflect on everything we’ve accomplished, and share so many laughs reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of this team. From busy shifts to unforgettable moments, this year has been nothing short of incredible and this night made it even more special.

So much laughter, so many memories, and a team that continues to make it all worthwhile. Congratulations to our award winners for your hard work and dedication, and a big thank you to our alumni for coming back to celebrate with us. Finally thank you each every one of our responders who served the campus community this year. Here’s to an incredible team and year! 💙

March was unforgettable! SERT spent the month building skills, making a difference in the community, and having a blast along the way!

From stepping onto the mats for jiu-jitsu, to pushing our limits rock climbing, to wrapping up our final team training Amazing Race–style (and absolutely loving every second of it), this month had it all.

We took time to reset with therapy dogs, showed up for our campus by partnering with incredible events, supported meaningful causes through Relay for Life and group blood donations, and most importantly, spent time together making memories and having fun.

Grateful for this team, this community, and everything March brought our way!

This past weekend, the team had the opportunity to visit Middlesex-London EMS (MLEMS) for an incredible behind-the-scenes tour of their facility! We learned how operations run day-to-day, explored the ambulance, and got a close look at the equipment used in prehospital care.

A variety of skills were demonstrated, including intubation, VSA alongside EMS, IO access, EKGs, suction, and more, providing valuable insight into advanced prehospital interventions. We learned so much from the experience!

A big thank you to paramedics Kyra and Justin for taking the time to teach and guide the team, we truly appreciate it!

Hands-on skills are essential in emergency response, so we decided to put them to the test!

Our responders took on a blindfolded challenge to identify equipment by touch alone.

A fun way to reinforce familiarity with the tools we rely on every day.
Watch to see how they do!
