Today we celebrate a little Irish spirit… and a lot of Irish strength.

The Irish have always been known for resilience, grit, and heart - and honestly, those same qualities show up every single day inside these walls.

Every early morning workout.
Every extra rep when you think you’re done.
Every drop of sweat that pushes you closer to becoming your strongest self.

That’s the BOSS way.

I had the pleasure of doing a radiofrequency treatment for my midsection along with a detoxifying sauna wrap all at

The radiofrequency works by gently heating the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, improve circulation and support lymphatic drainage. Over a series of sessions it can help tighten skin, improve tissue quality and refine body contour.

The sauna wrap adds another layer of support. By increasing circulation and encouraging sweating, it helps promote lymphatic flow, reduce fluid retention and support the body’s natural detoxification process.

For me, this is about supporting my body through a very unique journey.

After breast cancer, a double mastectomy, a total hysterectomy and navigating surgical menopause, my body has gone through more change than most people realize. Add in weight fluctuations, hormone shifts and emergency abdominal surgery, and the skin and connective tissue can take a hit. 👊💥

Treatments like this help stimulate collagen, improve tissue mobility and support the integrity of the skin while I continue to train, nourish my body and rebuild strength.

Let me be clear: this isn’t a replacement for strength training or good nutrition. It’s simply another tool that supports recovery, skin health and overall tissue quality.

The real work is still done in the gym, in the kitchen and in the daily choices we make to care for our bodies.

Sometimes taking care of yourself means lifting heavier.
Sometimes it means allowing your body the recovery and support it deserves.

Both matter.

I highly recommend treatments like this for women in the post-natal phase, those navigating peri- and post-menopause, and honestly every single one of my Team BOSS athletes. Recovery, circulation, and tissue health matter just as much as the training itself.

Not enough is said about what it’s really like to go from that body… to this one. ☝️

The physical change is obvious.

What you don’t see is the identity crisis.
The imposter syndrome.
The months of not recognizing the woman in the mirror.

After my hysterectomy, my body went into a tailspin. Without ovaries, everything changed…. rapidly. I hid for the first year. It was a very dark season for me.

This road back wasn’t quick.
It wasn’t easy.
And it certainly wasn’t linear.

It took patience. Bloodwork. Adjustments. Learning an entirely new body, a new hormonal system, a new approach to training, nutrition, and recovery.

Now, with bHRT, inflammation-focused workouts, targeted nutrition, and supportive supplementation… I’m back at my goal weight and back in control. (2nd pic)

What did I have to say last Tuesday? 🎤

My speech focused on the often unspoken transitions women experience in midlife - particularly how menopause can impact identity, confidence, and marriage.

I shared how menopause is not just a physical shift, but an emotional and relational one. For many women, it can feel like waking up in a body they don’t fully recognize, navigating hormonal changes, lowered energy, changing self-image, and a disconnect from the version of themselves they once knew.

I spoke openly about how these changes can ripple into marriage - affecting intimacy, communication, and the way women show up in their relationships. Too often, women silently carry the weight of feeling “different,” while still trying to be everything for everyone else.

A core message of the talk was that menopause does not mean the end of vitality, femininity, or connection - it can be the beginning of a powerful reinvention. With support, strength-building, and honest conversations, women can reclaim themselves - and marriages can grow stronger when both partners understand what this season truly requires.

Ultimately, the speech was a reminder that this chapter isn’t about decline - it’s about evolution. Women deserve to feel strong, desired, confident, and deeply themselves again - not just for their health, but for their relationships and their lives.

Loved the opportunity to share my experiences and thoughts … can’t wait to do it again!

Here at BOSS Studio Fitness we focus on Online Personal Coaching Systems and assist individuals to becoming their best version of them on a global scale. Based in London Ontario, Canada.... we also are the home of BOSS Training Outdoor Bootcamps.... BOSSBabes Bootcamps (ladies only) and our co-ed version BOSSBootcamps.

Our Head BOSS Lady, Michelle Goldrick is a London Ontario based certified personal trainer with over 20 year’s experience in the fitness industry, with adding in some additional certification in Pre and Post Natal Specialised Personal Training. Over the years she has helped many women achieve and sustain their fitness and weight loss goals before, during and after pregnancy and into menopause. Michelle trains out of her own home based personal training studio in London, Ontario as well. She also has a large online training client base. Michelle is a wife, entrepreneur and a mother to a very active 6 year old daughter.

Most recently being a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed in September 2013 with mastectomy in December 2013, she now also understand the unique obstacles to overcome physiologically and emotionally that younger women with early age diagnosis go through. After her journey with cancer, she made it her mission to empower women to feel their very best in the body they have and see the beauty in the strength and perseverance of what it does for us. In doing so she created a few of her many programs that allowed her to facilitate this idea with a 6 week training and coaching system that ends with either a fitness themed or a bo***ir photoshoot. That being our Six Weeks to STRONG and Six Weeks to SEXY systems.
