Good morning everyone!!

🚧 Here is the update for the construction in front of our hospital! 🚧

Starting Wednesday, May 6, Phase 2A of the Wellington Gateway construction project will begin along the south Rapid Transit corridor.

This stage brings two big pieces of work together at the same time: we’re replacing aging underground pipes and utilities and building new rapid transit improvements along Wellington Road.

What this means for your trip
• Traffic will shift to the west side of Wellington Road and the south side of Commissioners Road
• One lane will stay open in each direction
• Lanes on Commissioners Road will be reduced
• The east sidewalk on Wellington Road will be closed
• Access to the hospital and local businesses will be maintained during construction
• We are working closely with the hospitals to ensure continued access, including for emergency services
• These changes will be in place from May through Summer 2026

🐾Headline: Insurance Policy Update: Effective May 1st 🐾

We’re updating how we handle insurance claims to ensure our staff stays focused on clinical care. Here is how it will work:

✅ Can I submit my own claim?
Yes! We encourage this as it often leads to faster reimbursement. Just snap a photo of your receipt using your provider’s app. We will provide all the receipts you need at check-out.

✅ Can the clinic still do it for me?
Yes. If you would like our staff to manage the submission, we are happy to help for a service fee, which is due prior to the claim being sent.

✅ When does this start?
May 1st, 2026.

🚧 Pardon our dust! Roadwork is starting soon. 🚧

Hi everyone! We wanted to give you a quick "heads-up" that construction is scheduled to begin right in front of the clinic any day now.

🚧 We know that orange cones and traffic can be a headache, so we’re asking for a little extra patience as we all navigate these changes together. To ensure your pet gets the dedicated time and care they deserve, please try to leave a bit earlier for your upcoming appointments.

Because our exam slots are precisely scheduled, arriving late may mean we have to shorten the exam or, in some cases, reschedule your visit to another day. ⏰

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all staying warm and cozy!!

🚩We just wanted to let you know of our new policy regarding scripting to a pharmacy. We have gotten many calls over the last few days of people wanting to get their medication at a pharmacy that now sells pet medication.

In order to do so, you must first come to the clinic and sign a waiver. Most guarantees on veterinary products are only valid when products are purchased directly from the veterinarian. We cannot guarantee the storage, shipping conditions or authenticity of medications from third party vendors.

Our requirements for medication refills for outside prescriptions are NON NEGOTIABLE:
✅A physical exam is required every 12 months. This allows us to catch any changes in their health before a prescription renewal.

🩸Blood work 🩸mandatory yearly diagnostic blood work (or more regular monitoring if the pet has an ongoing medical condition) to ensure the medication is working correctly, and not putting stress on your pet

🦟Annual heartworm testing will be required.🦟

♥️Your pets safety is our top priority !!?♥️

Please allow 48-72 hours for us to process your written prescription requests.

Today was our co-op students last day!
The 3 months flew by! We greatly enjoyed having Brie with us (especially when she brought her cutie patootie dog Bella!). We wish Brie the best of luck in her future!!
