We are happy to announce that London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital is back to being 24/7 as of March 14, 2022. We ask that you still call the emergency clinic ahead of time to see they have space. We are still offering Smart Vet triage line as our after hours emergency if you choose to use them OR you can go to the emergency clinic, the choice is yours. Smart.Vet: 1 647 695 5411. There is no charge for this phone call, as it is answered by a Registered Veterinary Technician who will than determine which case needs to be handled by a telemedicine consult with a veterinarian (which then there is a fee) or those that need to be directed immediately to an emergency hospital.

We would greatly, truly love to thank Jade Brown at Jade Brown Creates for creating this lovely, one of a kind memory box. We can't wait to decorate it once we receive our Linda Lou back. Morning everyone 💔

I have some unfortunate and very sad news. 😔😭 Unfortunately, at the end of the day yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our most dear loving Linda Lou Lou. Her health has been declining over the last week, and we have done all we could for her. We extended her life for 3years. We got her through her diabetes, worked on weight loss, worked on her hyperthyroidism and we did radiation for her thyroid. That's when we found a lump in her abdomen.

She is very loved and will be forever missed. We are doing the best we can, so please be patient with us as we grieve the loss of our loving Lou Lou. She fought a hard battle, and was sassy till the end. ♥️♥️

⚠️Ticks are very bad this year and all pets (even indoor cats) should be on flea/tick prevention (as you can bring it inside with you!). ⚠️

On Monday I will post a picture/video of the jar of ticks.

To enter you just simply guess on the picture below. You are more than welcome to come to the clinic to take a look at the jar, but no counting! That's cheating!.

Ticks are extremely bad this year!
Here is a jar that Dr Millman collected for almost 2 weeks. These ticks were collected from inside the house from herself and her husband (few from the pets but they are prevention!).

There are about 80 ticks in this jar.

We just had someone come by and they pulled 5 ticks of their dog right here at Parkwood hospital. Right across the street from us.

Ticks are out! Please put your pets on flea/tick prevention (even your cats that are just indoors! As the ticks can be brought in with you!!). 😸🐶
