L'Arche London, Ontario Vibrant community life, homes, and programs for people with & without intellectual disabilities.

In 1991, a small group of people with an interest in L’Arche gathered to pray and lay the ground work for L’Arche London. We have three homes, Cana (opened in August,1997), Jubilee (opened in March, 2003) and Bethany (opened in February 2008).. There are thirteen core members who form the heart of the community, and several live-in assistants. L’Arche London is part of L’Arche Ontario which includes eight L’Arche communities in the province.

Our Story

In 1991, a small group of people with an interest in L’Arche gathered to pray and lay the ground work for L’Arche London, Ontario. Today L’Arche London has three homes - Cana (opened in August,1997), Jubilee (opened in March, 2003) and Bethany (opened in February 2008). In September 2017, we opened the Gathering Place on the south-west side of London. The Gathering Place is a community hub with a wide range of participation opportunities for citizens with intellectual disabilities, families, friends, and volunteers. L’Arche London is part of L’Arche Ontario which includes nine L’Arche communities in the province.
