Springtime Learning with Ladybugs 🐞🌸
🌿 Spring has sprung in our classroom, and our little learners dove into a fun, hands-on ladybug activity!
Using colourful ladybug counters, magnifying glasses, and interactive mats, the children explored counting, sorting, and matching while engaging in imaginative play. From placing ladybugs on tree trunks to counting spots and filling number frames, every moment was full of curiosity and excitement!
🌱 What we’re learning:
• Early math skills – counting, number recognition & one-to-one correspondence
• Fine motor development – picking, placing & using tools
• Language skills – describing, questioning & storytelling
• Social skills – sharing, turn-taking & collaborative play
• Curiosity about nature – understanding insects and spring changes
Learning through play makes every discovery meaningful and memorable 💚
