Yoga is a wonderful practice for all ages and experience levels. It has a variety of positive health benefits, both physical and mental. We specialize in Sivananda Hatha yoga (very traditional style of yoga), Chair yoga (suitable for anyone experiencing injuries, illness or limited movement), restorative yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra guided meditation. In our classes, we strive to help all yogis - whether you're just beginning or you're a seasoned practitioner - feel welcome, encouraged and ensure a safe practice for everyone.
There is increasing awareness of mental, emotional and physical benefits from meditation in recent years. While there are many types of meditation, they all have the same goal – to quiet the mind, lead one to a deeper state of peace and calm, and ultimately lead the practitioner to a place where they connect to their inner soul.
Reiki is a technique that is used to reduce stress, increase relaxation and provide overall healing to the body and mind. Reiki heals by healing energy flowing through meridians or chakras (channels) of the affected area.
