MedVents is a Scouts Canada vocational Venturer Company and Rover Crew. The youth are certified in increasing levels of first aid, starting with Standard First Aid, and the trained youth are then available to volunteer and provide first aid support at events around the London area and with Scouts Canada. Members also receive ongoing training covering many advanced aspects of first aid at weekly me

etings, and participate in scenarios to practice their skills. Our Story

MedVents is a Scouts Canada vocational Venturer Company and Rover Crew. The group consists of male and female youth, ages 14 to 26. 1st London started with a partnership between Scouts Canada and Thames Emergency Medical services in 2006 and continued with Middlesex-London Paramedic Services and now with Scouts Canada. The youth are certified in increasing levels of first aid, starting with Standard First Aid, and the trained youth are then available to volunteer and provide first aid support at events around the London area and with Scouts Canada. Members also receive ongoing training covering many advanced aspects of first aid at weekly meetings, and participate in scenarios to practice their skills.
