The Registered Dental Hygienist, under the direction of the Manager, Quality & Compliance and the dentist(s), makes decisions within the context of prescribed instructions, guidelines and/or policies and procedures. Based on the knowledge of the organization and Dental Services, as well as, the socioeconomic and cultural level of a client’s needs, the Registered Dental Hygienist exercises sound judgement in making decisions that may be beyond the scope of instructions or documentation. The Registered Dental Hygienist is responsible for contributing to the clinical and preventive dental health programs that are offered in the community.

We are looking for a Family Physician to join the SOAHAC team at our site located in London, Ontario. Reporting to the Integrated Care Manager in London, the Family Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered Primary Care which emphasizes accessibility, health promotion, illness prevention and continuity of care for Indigenous people living off-reserve and surrounding First Nations communities.

While we are ideally seeking a full-time, permanent Family Physician, we are also open to part-time schedules or contract service agreements. Compensation, paid time off, benefits, and pension eligibility will be adjusted accordingly. Interested candidates are encouraged to indicate their preferred work arrangement in their application.

The Nurse Practitioner will work within a wholistic, integrated care model, collaborating with physicians, traditional healers, mental health professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure culturally safe, client-centred care.
