In less than 24 hours the smoke smell has been eradicated and the staff is now preparing to reopen the restaurant!

We drove 20 hours to assist our Atlantic Canada office in getting a popular restaurant back open for business after an electrical fire.

I can’t help but get a little emotional putting up the Angel tree in Santa’s House. I look at all of the children who are displayed on the tree and feel sad they are no longer with us.To all these children who have left us too soon may they Rest In Peace and know they will never be forgotten. I get comfort in knowing the TLC put many smiles on their faces and provided many beautiful memories for their families to cherish for a life time.

Schools are going to reopen soon and should be considering our ForceField process to provide long lasting protection from virus’ bacteria and fungi for students and teachers. Fogged chemicals only disinfect for the next person to enter that area and have no lasting impact.

Message From the General Manager


Highland Country Club and Bio Sweep Canada want to say thank you!

Highland Country Club and Bio Sweep Canada appreciate all of the hard work that our front line and essential workers have done for all of us during this pandemic. From the nurses, doctors, pharmacists, technicians, porters and other health care workers who have kept us safe and healthy, to the truck drivers who delivered much needed supplies. From the individuals who stocked our grocery shelves, to the bank tellers who gave us a smile when we needed it the most. These workers and all of the other essential workers deserve our gratitude. As a thank you to these heroes, Highland is going to treat them to a round of golf on Thursday June 18th. Members will be able to bring up to 3 essential or front line workers from 7 am to 1 pm for a round of golf on us.

Coffee and muffins before your round will be provided by our good friends Chris Sparling, Steve Stoyanovich and Eric Stoyanovich from Tim Hortons. Lunch at the half way house will also be provided. Please email the Pro Shop with the names of your guests, their occupations, their shirt sizes and your preferred tee time. We will do our best to accommodate your request but your schedule for that day will need to be flexible. Tee times will be on a first come first serve basis so please send in your request as soon as possible. Deadline to sign up is Thursday June 11th.

We are all in this together. Compassion, kindness and a caring soul will help all of us get through these difficult times. The more we can do to help others the better our lives will be.

Happy to help such a great organization!

We are facing the greatest challenges of our 34 years at the London Food Bank. Every effort is being made to ramp up our services and be there for a community that has always - always - been there for us. We have to do the best we can because so much is riding on it. This weekend the food bank is closed as the BioSweep company sanitizes our entire building i the deepest clean possible with the highest tech equipment in such a setting. We asked for their assistance because our clients, volunteers and staff mean everything to us. And they offered to help because they agree that this city is worth it. This will be a long struggle, but BioSweep just made it more secure for us. Thank you to a great London company.

Our clients, volunteers, and staff are vital to us and we appreciate the good folks from BioSweep Canada who have offered a safe and non-toxic complete sanitization of our building as an extra precaution in this important time. We want to be the most responsible we can be and we thank BioSweep for helping us to fulfill that task. Our regular Saturday morning student food bank will be closed for this weekend only (April 25), and as always students can still come during the week.

Biosweep Canada is spending the July 1st long weekend removing the smoke odour from this arena. It’s not how we wanted to spend our long weekend but it met our client’s need for minimal disruption in the cleaning/ rebuild process. We aim to please!
