Thanksgiving Weekend Hours 🦃🍂

If you are in need of a medication refill or more food for your pet(s), please let us know as soon as possible so we can do our best to make sure it arrives before the Thanksgiving long weekend. Compounded medications will take 48-72 hours to arrive in clinic.

Southwest Veterinary Hospital is moving! 🚚📦

Please note that this past weekend was the final weekend for Southwest Veterinary Hospital operating out of the Blue Cross Animal hospital building at 95 Wharncliffe Rd S.

This week the Southwest team is working hard to get everything moved over and set up so that this Friday September 26th, they will be ready to continue providing urgent veterinary care to pets in London and the surrounding areas from their new location at 1398 Wellington Rd South, Unit 50. The operating hours of being open 24 hours from Friday at 6pm to Monday at 6am remain the same. Please note that access to the new location is off of Wilton Grove Rd.

Labour Day Long Weekend Hours 🇨🇦

The Labour day long weekend is fast approaching! Please take note of our hours below.

If you are in need of food or medication for your pet please let us know as soon as possible so we can do our best to ensure it arrives in clinic prior to our long weekend closure.

If you have an emergency over the long weekend and need to contact Southwest Veterinary Hospital we ask that you please be patient and understanding with their staff. They will likely be dealing with a higher than typical case load resulting in longer than usual wait times for non-life threatening concerns. This is due to the current temporary reduction in weekend hours at the London Regional Emergency Veterinary Hospital on Adelaide.

Please note that we have been notified by the London Regional Emergency Hospital that they will be returning to reduced ER hours on the weekend effective as of this Friday, August 8th. They will close Friday mornings at 7am and reopen at 7am on Sunday mornings.

If you are in need of veterinary care for your dog or cat over the weekend while we are closed please contact Southwest Veterinary Hospital on 95 Wharncliffe Rd S. at 519-672-1623. They are open 24 hours starting Friday evenings at 6pm until 6am Monday morning.
