This month, we’re celebrating last month’s adoptions of OPAL & LADY GREY!

Lady Grey joined: February 2024
Opal joined: November 2024
Adopted: May 2025
Fostered by: Monica & Don

In February 2024, LADY GREY came to us from a very neglectful situation. She was initially so shy and scared of everything. With much care and love from her foster parents, she came around. Lady Grey’s social skills also improved as her foster home took in various kittens. Lady Grey took to them immediately which really helped to bring her out of her shell.

In November 2024, OPAL came to us in rough shape and joined Lady Grey’s foster home. Their colouring was very similar and looked like a mother-daughter duo. Opal had on-going eye infection issues which took time to resolve. In the meantime, she and Lady Grey became best buds. The foster home thought that maybe they would be forever fosters but then along came a great application.

Lady Grey and Opal were adopted together in May. There was concern that after so much time, Lady Grey would struggle with adjusting to a new home, but much to everyone’s surprise and delight, she did extremely well. They have both settled into their new home and the adoption has been finalized.

Kudos to Monica and Don for their time and patience with Lady Grey and Opal to get them adoption ready!
