Black History Month is more than remembrance. It is responsibility.

As nursing students, we honour Black pioneers in Canadian healthcare who advanced equity despite systemic barriers, and we uplift local Black changemakers whose work shaped our community here in London.

Black history is not distant.
It lives in our city.
It lives in Canadian healthcare.

As future nurses, it is our responsibility to carry forward anti-racist practice, culturally safe care, and health equity beyond February.

Today, it’s a reminder that the smallest actions can create lasting change. 💗 As future nurses, we’re committed to fostering respect, psychological safety, and compassion in every space we enter. Bullying has no place in healthcare — kindness, accountability, and allyship do. Today and every day, we choose to stand together.
