January was an incredible month filled with fun and exciting events at our community! From engaging activities to heartwarming moments, our community truly came alive!

We kicked off the year with Elvis Presley Day, featuring an Elvis impersonator who entertained our residents, marking a major highlight of the month. Alongside with weekly music entertainment, and outings, and our recreation coordinator Carson introduced a Mixology drink event that the residents really enjoyed!

We also welcomed our new pet therapy dog, Luna, who will be visiting every Thursday evening!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in making January such a memorable month.

We look forward to even more fun in February, so stay tuned for the upcoming events!

A day late but we did have a winner for our raffle and it was none other than our resident Joyce!

She was so appreciative and couldn’t believe her luck!

But thank you everyone that was able to purchase raffle tickets whether you wanted to only buy the basket for you or another or just to support the residents with their recreation activities as we will be using all proceeds for extra fun recreational events!

Hello family and friends!

On Tuesday, November 26, I will be hosting our third annual Christmas Bazaar at my workplace, the Manor Village Retirement Home located at 230 Victoria street, London Ontario. We have 14 vendors participating in this event. The time of our event is from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Please note: this is a cash only event. If you're free that day, I warmly invite you to come out, do some Christmas shopping, and support our local vendors! 🎄😊

Our Story

The concept for The Manor Villages evolved over a decade from one man’s determination to develop the finest housing with a quality lifestyle for seniors.

Spurred into action by the changing needs of his mother Birdie Viola Mann, our owner and CEO Dr. Garth Mann personally visited almost 70 senior housing facilities across Canada and the United States. He did this to familiarize himself with the industry, assess what was currently provided for senior independent living, and then to refine and improve that lifestyle for the future Manor Villages.

In 1997, our first community became a reality - The Manor Village at Signature Park, proudly dedicated in loving memory of Birdie Viola Mann. Today, there are Manor Village Life Centres in Calgary AB and London ON, offering exceptional senior living in an active and caring community.
