I’ve honestly never wanted to be an influencer, or to have a massive following. My goal has always been to find the right people for my online community here, and I know I’ve found my people 🥰🥰 It an absolute blessing to be able to stay home with my kids, while doing something that brings me so much joy and purpose. Nobody wants to wake a sleeping baby! I know it feels counterintuitive, but there are some instances that I recommend gently waking your child from their slumber.

Until your baby has dropped down to one nap, you will want to WAKE them up if they have been napping for 2 hours.

2+ naps a day= 2hr max/nap

WHY!?

Have you ever taken a long nap in and woken up in a haze? You feel kinda groggy and out of it. This can happen for our babes too! But the main reason is so that you don’t mess up the rest of your days schedule.

If your child is taking a 3 hour nap in the morning, you are going to struggle with scheduling the remainder of your day. It will be more difficult to fit in all your naps and make it to bedtime, without going over your maximum nap total.

I know, it sounds backwards… but hear me out!!👇

The biggest cause of early mornings wakings is OVERtiredness. So the seemingly logical approach of pushing bedtime later usually heeds unwanted results. Pushing bedtime later only contributes to more OVERtiredness, so sometimes they wake up even earlier!!

So what do we do instead? Move bedtime EARLIER! Shift bedtime by 10-15 minutes, in hopes of preventing overtiredness. This should result in a much better night overall, and a later wake up the next day! 💤💤
