I know it looks like I'm kind of on a drink-inspired theme, and that's because I am! Fall and winter are when I love to sit on the couch with a cozy drink and read a book while the wind blows and howls outside. My Peppermint Mocha blend will give you that warm and cozy feeling without all the extra calories. 😉. I'm truly honored to say that this weekend I will again be a vendor for the Infinity Women's Secretariat AGA market. The IWS is an affiliate of the Manitoba Métis Federation, of which community I belong to. The IWS is a Métis, women-led community that helps support other women. To be able to be a vendor during their AGA is a great opportunity to connect with other Metis women entrepreneurs and to be able to see how their journey is going.
It is such an important thing for me to have women supporting women. Lifting each other up instead of putting them down.
If you will be attending the IWS AGA this weekend, come up to the market area and say hi! It's always great to see a friendly face. 😊

Summer is my favourite season because of the heart, the sun, and all of the fresh fruit and veggies. But Fall is a close second! I love the changing of the leaves, the smell of a forest that's getting ready to sleep, and the warm drinks! Some days, it's still too warm to have that hot drink, so I do the next best thing: I diffuse my Warm Cider blend! I use sweet orange, ginger, blood orange, and cardamom essential oils to give you that warm cider scent, without even turning on the kettle! This blend is a nice, soft blend that won't overpower.

I forgot to post this yesterday! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I brought in my Fall/Winter collection to The Locals! Over the next week or so, you'll see me introduce each blend to you. I love them all, but I'm really feeling Fallen Leaves lately. 😊.
While I was there, I also picked up a candle for my youngest daughter for Christmas. 😀 It's never too early to start, and they have such a great selection of candles from some great local makers.

Hello September! Is it just me, or does it feel like someone just flipped the "cool" switch on?
Don't worry, we've got some amazing cozy scents to help warm your spirit! Let's start with one of my favorites; Fallen Leaves. A delightful combination of vetiver, spruce hemlock, frankincense, cedarwood, black pepper and ho wood. It reminds me of when my kids were little and would jump in the pile of leaves that we raked up at my parents cottage.

This blend, along with my other Fall/Winter collection will be available at select retail stores as well as our upcoming markets!

Shauna, who is an artist in her own right, curates her store to include many Indigenous artists and makers with all sorts of awesome goodies!
