Medication labels contain important information to help you take your meds safely and effectively. Always check the medication name and strength to be sure it’s what you were prescribed. Look at the dosage instructions so you know how much to take and how often, and pay attention to any warnings about food, alcohol, or activities to avoid. Expiry dates matter too—using medication past its date can reduce effectiveness.

Snowy days often mean shovelling, and it’s important to take care of yourself while clearing those driveways and sidewalks. Cold temperatures and heavy snow can put extra strain on your heart and muscles, so remember to pace yourself, take breaks, and dress warmly in layers. If you feel chest pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, stop right away and seek help. Staying hydrated and stretching before and after can also help prevent injury. ❄️💙
