💚 We’re Hiring!

We have exciting and rewarding job opportunities in the Housekeeping/Laundry areas of the Home. We are currently recruiting for Environmental Service/Laundry Service Workers.

While there are no guaranteed hours for this position, there is plenty of opportunity to pick up shifts! Looking for someone with day shift availability both weekdays and weekends.

🌿✨ Another wonderful week is ahead at Lumsden & District Heritage Home! ✨🌿

We’re starting things off with bingo, an exercise circle, and music with Melanie — the perfect mix of fun and movement to brighten Monday. 🎶💪

The week continues with Communion, Lunch Club, and Bocce Ball, plus plenty of time to connect through our sensory group and “Spooky Old Things” activity! 🎃💚

Midweek brings Halloween word games, fall gardening, and visits from the YWCA — a week full of laughter, energy, and community spirit. 🌸

As we head into the weekend, we’ll enjoy performances, movie night, spooky stories, and coffee & chat with Sunday’s Catholic Church service. ☕🎥✨

🌿✨ Another wonderful week is ahead at Lumsden & District Heritage Home! ✨🌿
We’re kicking things off with Thanksgiving reminiscing, bingo, and sing-alongs — the perfect way to celebrate gratitude and togetherness. 💛 The rest of the week is filled with fun and connection, from fall gardening, Communion, and sensory group activities to a Chinese food outing, Snowflake Bazaar prep, and even a friendly game of horseshoes!

And as we head into the weekend, the excitement continues with a YWCA visit, Happy Hour Cart, and Polka Party, plus Halloween decorating, crafts, movie night, and our Sunday Coffee & Chat with the United Church Service. ☕🎶🎃

🌿✨ It’s been a lively week here at Lumsden & District Heritage Home! ✨🌿
Our residents had a wonderful start to the week with Bingo, Exercise Circle, Music with Melanie, Communion, and fun visits from Openview Preschool and Deer Valley Lunch. 🎶💚 Every moment has been filled with laughter, movement, and connection!

As we look ahead, there’s still more excitement to come — the YWCA will be visiting on Thursday, followed by a Grade 8 visit, live performance by Tim Richards, Cards Night, and Rider Game on Friday! 💚🏈 The weekend will wrap up with Fancy Fingers, Movie Night, and Sunday’s Coffee & Chat and Lutheran Church Service. ☕🙏

🍂✨ It’s been a wonderful week here at Lumsden & District Heritage Home! ✨🍂
We enjoyed time together with baking, bingo, art evening, Communion, birthday celebrations, Frisbee Day, fall gardening, and even Snowflake Bazaar prep. 💛 Each activity brought smiles, laughter, and connection.

Now, we’re looking ahead to the weekend! On Friday, we’ll welcome the YWCA and enjoy a live performance by James Harty, followed by some fun with fall floor darts. 🎶🎯 Saturday brings hand spa’s, 1 to 1’s, and movie night, and on Sunday we’ll gather for Coffee & Chat and the Rock of the Valley Church Service. ☕🙏

Here at Lumsden & District Heritage Home, every week is about making memories together. 🌼
