We’ve signed up for additional direct billing to better serve our clients! Please let our admin team know you have private insurance at your next visit and they’ll be happy to submit on your behalf if your insurer is eligible.

Also a friendly reminder to our patients that there have been some changes to our parking lot. Parking spots are now marked by cement barriers. Be mindful of them when entering as the spots are no longer pull through.

You spoke; we listened! We have expanded our administrative hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to accommodate our evening clinicians booking needs, and provide more accessibility to our client base.

This means you will be seeing a new face behind the admin desk. Mellissa has joined the CC Team part-time and we are so excited to have her around!

We are always humbled and grateful for the communities support and trust in CC, allowing us to expand and improve access to mental health services on the South Shore. Thank you!

Compassionate Connections will be closed for Good Friday, and Easter Monday. Some clinicians have chosen to work one or both of these days, so if you are booked, proceed as usual! Just expect reduced operations in the office 🙂

We are thrilled to welcome psychiatrist Dr. Nathan Corbett to Compassionate Connections full time!
Dr. Corbett started full time as of March 1st. With his expertise in mood and trauma related disorders, he is dedicated to providing top-notch care for to patients 18+ in our community. This service is eligible under MSI, making it accessible at no charge.
👉 To book an appointment and meet Dr. Corbett, a referral from a doctor or nurse practitioner is required.

✨ Re-introducing ✨ Kaleigh Mills to our Compassionate Connections team. A familiar face to many of you, Kaleigh started at CC as our Office Manager while she continued her studies to become a counselling therapist.

Kaleigh has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and is currently completing her practicum placement in her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology under the supervision of Cindy Hall here at Compassionate Connections. Kaleigh works with adolescents (over age 16) and adults. Her special interests are in anxiety, depression, ADHD, motherhood and women’s wellness.

You can book in with Kaleigh on Mondays and Fridays at CC at a special, reduced rate of $50 per standard 50-minute session while she completes her practicum. Call 902-640-6565 to chat with our admin about booking.

If you see Kaleigh around the office, be sure to say hi! We’re very excited to have her around the office again 🌼💕

If you’ve been to the clinic lately you’ve likely seen and heard some of the construction going on.

Thanks to Jordon Seymour and the guys at JTS Construction, we will soon have two additional offices, which will open more availability for some of our clinicians!!
