February is Black History Month — a time to honour and celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of Black communities, past and present.
It is a time to reflect on stories of courage, leadership, creativity, and perseverance, and to recognize the many individuals whose voices and actions have shaped our world, often in the face of injustice and inequality.
At its heart, Black History Month is also about listening, learning, and continuing the work of building a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable future for all. We celebrate the richness of Black culture, the power of community, and the enduring legacy that continues to inspire generations.
