📣 Update: Late Arrival Policy
I am proud to provide my patients with some of the highest quality and most accessible care in the province. One way I try to respect everyone’s time is by keeping appointments running on schedule.
Unfortunately, when patients arrive late, it can disrupt the flow of the entire clinic. This can cause other visits to run behind or be rushed, which is not fair to other patients and can affect the quality of care.
Starting April 1, 2026, family medicine in Ontario will be operating under the new FHO+ model. This change means that appointments will generally be shorter and more focused than in the past, so it will be even more important that the clinic schedule runs on time.
For this reason, I have updated my Late Arrival Policy.
Patients will now be asked to arrive 5–10 minutes before their appointment time, and patients who arrive late may need to reschedule their visit.
I understand that unexpected situations can happen, and I will always try to be reasonable when possible. However, these changes will help ensure that all patients receive the time and attention they deserve during their appointments.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I truly appreciate it.
