How do you say May Peace Be with You... in your language?
A Day for Equality ⠀
The Fall Equinox will take place Monday, September 23 at 3:50 am. This is a moment of celestial balance and shift. In most places the sun will cross the sky rising on the true east and setting on the true west. It will be the closest equal day and night. It marks the shift of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere. In Astrology it marks the beginning of Libra Season. Libra is symbolized by the Scales of Justice ruled by Venus, which is an invitation to bring harmony into every relationship: One’s self, Others, & Nature ⠀
⠀
As the sun and earth align their centres, it is a powerful juncture to align our core values. Are we living in heart-relation or exploitation? How are we honouring diversity over conformity? Are we uniting rather than fighting? Are we seeing rather than trying to be seen? ⠀
⠀
The Equinox can be felt as a still point, the tipping point, the place in the middle where we could go either way, we could react but we could also hold space for nature to guide us. ⠀
⠀
In many cultures the four directions symbolize the cycles of life and seasons, our inherent connection to all, and the deep medicine and spirit available to all when we stop, see, feel, and breathe. ⠀
⠀
Tomorrow at Ceremony of Yoga are honoured by Marie-Josée Tardif who is a Kokom (grandmother), she will be opening the ceremony and calling in the directions as a peace prayer to envelope us all in unity. Reminding us the sun shines without discrimination. ⠀
⠀
We invite you to join us or create your own meditation for harmony. (Link in Bio) ⠀
