Welcome to Dragonfly

At Dragonfly Release we provide a range of holistic therapies and tailored retreats, including massage, reflexology, Reiki and creative activities and workshops, to help you restore and maintain your body’s natural balance, enabling your mind and body to heal themselves. Dragonfly Release is located at The Mahone Bay Centre, 45 School Street, Mahone Bay - Room 305.

When you experience injury and pain it is not uncommon to feel that you will never be well again! It is almost as if to avoid more discomfort your body convinces you that this is normal and goes into protective mode to try to minimize the pain you are experiencing. Unfortunately this can be the very worst thing for you as you quickly set up a new pattern of movement, guarding against further discomfort as you compensate for your injury or restriction, often causing a whole new set of problems as your body works contrary to it’s natural pattern. That’s why here at Dragonfly Release we are passionate about working with you to provide a range of holistic therapies and tailored retreats, including massage, Reiki and creative activities and workshops, to help you restore and maintain your body’s natural balance, enabling your mind and body to heal themselves.

A Registered Massage Therapist, Jeff is an intuitive therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher who believes in working with you to find the root cause of your concern. He believes in helping you find healing and renewed enjoyment of your daily activities, whatever they might be.

With a lifelong interest in helping others Jeff finally followed his passion and began a second career in Massage Therapy, graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), here in Nova Scotia. He extended his knowledge working within specialist clinics dealing with Chronic Pain, Addictions and Neurological conditions. Jeff has worked in several spas, including the five-star Fox Harb’r Golf Resort & Spa, and still works part time in the busy Massage Addict clinic at Larry Uteck in Bedford. He has also served as a RMT at several major and World Class sporting events, including being a member of the 2011 Canada Games Medical Team.
