Here are 3 things I’d do daily to support recovery & reduce discomfort:
🔹 1. Toe Raises & Spreads
- Builds foot mobility and control
- Improves weight distribution
- Strengthens foot muscles
🔹 2. Heel Lifts with Circles
- Gently stretches the plantar fascia
- Mobilizes the ankle
- Massages the ball of the foot
🔹 3. Top of Foot Stretch
- Counters toe/foot flexion with extension
- Targets tight shins, top of the foot, & toe joints
💡 BONUS: Add calf stretches + heel raises for even more support!
✨ Start small, just 5 minutes a day can make a difference.

👋 Struggling with stiff wrists or tired hands? These simple hand mobility stretches can make a real difference, especially if you spend hours typing, lifting, or gripping every day.
✨ In this video, we’ll guide you through:
🔹 The prayer stretch to open up your wrists
🔹 A flat-hand stretch for gentle tension release
🔹 A fist stretch for deeper mobility
🔹 And some big wrist circles to finish strong 💪
Taking a few minutes to move your hands can ease tension and improve function over time. You deserve to feel better in your daily movements! 💛

Mobility Moves with Rebecca ✋🧡
Try these simple but powerful exercises to help improve hand mobility and reduce stiffness, perfect for anyone managing arthritis or feeling tension in the hands.
Here’s how to do them ⬇️
📌 Marble Squeeze: Pretend you’re holding a marble. Squeeze it tight for a count of 5, then fully open your hand.
📌 Tendon Glides: Start with your fingers straight, then bend, fold, straighten, and open. It’s a bit of a brain workout too!
📌 Finger Spread + Squeeze: Spread your fingers as wide as you can, then squeeze them back together like you're gripping a piece of paper.
Why we love it:
👉 Keeps joints moving
👉 Helps reduce stiffness
👉 Supports hand function for daily tasks
Save this for later and give your hands some love today!

At Zenith Physio Pilates we are proud to offer one on one physiotherapy treatments, where all of your appointment time will be spent directly with your therapist. Our Physiotherapists have postgraduate training in manual and manipulative therapy, pelvic floor rehab, acupuncture, osteopathy, and pilates.
Physio Pilates
Physio Pilates is a unique blend of Pilates and core exercises offered under the direct supervision of a physiotherapist, either individually or in small groups. Those familiar with the Pilates Method will recognize exercises designed to improve mobility and strength, optimize core muscle recruitment, and enhance athletic performance. Physio Pilates begins with an assessment during which the best exercises are chosen to suit your body, injuries, and fitness goals.
Pelvic Health Physio
We treat women of all ages and for a wide range of issues. Young athletes who may have incontinence issues, women pre and post pregnancy, sedentary women with pain issues, bowel or bladder issues and pre or post menopausal women may all benefit from pelvic health physiotherapy.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is “a natural medicine which aims to restore function in the body by treating the causes of pain and imbalance. To achieve this goal the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner relies on the quality and finesse of his/her palpation and works with the position, mobility and quality of the tissues.” (CCO). Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that can provide relief for a myriad of health conditions
Breast Cancer & Reconstruction Rehabilitation
After Breast Cancer, rehabilitation is necessary to help relieve pain, mobilize scar tissue and restore the loss of muscular function due to reconstruction.
At Zenith Physio Pilates, our rehabilitation therapist is skilled in the latest techniques to help women regain strength and confidence and improve their quality of life after breast cancer surgery and treatment. We look at all the aspects of movement that may be affected by your cancer treatment and develop a plan to help you become a more active participant in your journey to recovery.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been shown scientifically to achieve analgesic, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects.
Acupuncture, an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is used to correct and restore the flow of bioelectrical energy (called Qi) in the body.
