Well my kiddos went to their dads for thanksgiving so pug Marley and I headed to our happy place to watch some roughrider football friday, we watched hockey Saturday night and in between we were enjoying the beauty of the lake in the fall…. until Sunday morning 🌨️ lol

I read this quote this week:
“Kindness is the highest form of intelligence.”

The more I sit with it, the more sense it makes.
Intelligence isn’t only about what we know ~ it’s how we understand people.

Truly intelligent souls don’t rush to impress.
They pause. They listen.
They know words can bruise or heal, so they choose them with care.

Unkindness often comes from fear ~ fear of being unseen or unworthy.
But real intelligence moves differently.
It values connection over control,
and understands that true insight lives in empathy, not ego.

Kindness is understanding in action….
a gentle wisdom that chooses peace over pride. 💛

My youngest has been keeping me busy trying to get him to do his schoolwork. I guess he’s allowed to be a little cranky though after getting his grade 6 vaccinations today; which he handled really well, he’s a pretty brave kiddo definitely braver than his mother when it comes to things like that anyways lol.
Here are my photos that I took last night of the harvest/hunter’s super full moon. It was a little cloudy, but I still think the pictures look cool. If you happened to get some nice shots of the moon, feel free to share them in the comments below for others to enjoy if you’re comfortable sharing. Well, I went missing for the weekend on here and just in case you’re wondering what I was up to; Saturday was a Caturday and house cleaning day and then for Funday Sunday off to the lake to do some more winterizing and refresh my soul
