Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never came home, and the survivors and families whose strength carries their stories forward.

Here on the Prairies, on the lands of Poundmaker, Little Pine, Thunderchild, and many other Nations, reconciliation is not something abstract. It is lived here in our communities, in our neighbours, and in the people we are proud to serve and provide care to every day.

We wear orange not only in remembrance, but in solidarity. We are proud to support the Indigenous communities around us, and we stand together in the hope that healing will continue to grow.

Reconciliation is not just a day, but a journey, one we proudly walk together, with truth, respect, and hope for the generations to come.

Dr. Ellis is in Phoenix Arizona for the next two days for another course. She is always learning so that she can bring the best practises back to Maidstone.

This weekend Dr. Ellis flew out to Vancouver to dive into the BC Dental Study Club’s Ultimate Pediatric Dentistry Workshop.

Her passion for learning never slows down and she’s eager to explore new advances this weekend and bring the very best back to our little patients here at home. 🦷💙
