Here’s what an advanced infusion treatment typically looks like:
When you arrive at the clinic, you’ll meet with the doctor to go over how you’ve been feeling, your medical history and your treatment plan.
When it’s time to start, the doctor will place an IV with a small needle into a small vein in your arm or hand, similar to getting blood drawn.
You’ll be in your own private room in a reclining chair, set up to be calm and comfortable.
You’ll be offered mood lighting, noise-cancelling headphones for music, and eye shades.
The infusion runs for about an hour.
During that time, your blood pressure, heart rate, and overall response are monitored continuously.
The team is there the entire time, and adjustments can be made if needed.
You’re never left alone. Someone is always nearby and checking in.
After the session, there’s time to rest before you leave.
We encourage you to take time to journal and reflect on your experience.
Within 24 hours after your infusion, you’ll meet with an integration therapist to help you process what came up for you.
This can make it easier to understand your experience and how it relates to what you’re working through.
Most people find the experience enjoyeable and relaxing once they expected once they understand how the process works.
However, as many people feel nervous or anxious before a treatment, our team is always there to support you.
