This should be obvious and we hear it ALL THE TIME. But I think it bares repeating. If you're not using SPF regularly then the rest of your skin care routine doesn't matter.

Not protecting my skin from the sun when I was younger is my biggest skin care regret. So much damage could have been avoided in those early years.

This is why I preach this message to not only my clients but my family and friends and anyone who will listen.

Lovely upper face rejuvenation with tox.

This is her 2 week follow-up and we added a couple of units of anti-spock. This is one of the reasons a follow-up appointment is important.

How to get rid of smokers lines...

Step 1: add a few units of botox to the upper lip and the lines are less visible after the initial treatment.

We can always add a couple more units but the first treatment should be conservative to see how the lip muscles respond.

Step 2: We can also add filler at any point for an enhanced effect

Keep in mind, you don't have to be a smoker to develop smokers lines. They occur with repetitive movement of the mouth and can be more pronounced in some people.

We all know that getting good quality sleep is beneficial for our overall well being.

But just as important, our skin forms collagen and regenerates as we sleep.

Poor sleep quality can lead to decreased skin elasticity and hydration and therefore result in more fine lines, dull complexion and puffiness.

The good news is we can actually reverse this just by improving the quality and quantity of our sleep.

Just consider how much $$ we spend on skin care, injectable and various procedures yearly. Why not help support and enhance that by just adding an extra couple of hours of sleep nightly?

Preventative botox is DEFINITELY a thing......she will likely only require treatment every 4 to 6 months with minimal dosage and she will not develop static lines as she ages.
