Wisdom teeth are the third (and last) set of molars that appear in the mouth, often between the ages of 17 and 25. While wisdom teeth may erupt normally in some people, many develop impacted wisdom teeth - teeth that don’t have enough room to develop normally.

To avoid future complications caused by impacted wisdom teeth, such as crowding of the back teeth, gum disease and tooth decay, a surgical procedure to remove the wisdom teeth is often undergone.

Meet Dr. David Li:

Dr. David Li received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. In 1993, he also graduated from School of Dentistry, Beijing Medical University (Peking University) in China and had practiced general dentistry in Beijing over 20 years ago.

Dr Li prides himself on serving his patients with compassion while providing them with high quality treatment. When he's not reading up on new dental techniques and revising his knowledge, he can be found listening to classical music and history podcasts, travelling, and swimming.

As always, our waiting areas are meticulously cleaned, our examination rooms are sanitized and disinfected using UV light, and all instruments are thoroughly sterilized between patients. Air filtration systems which continuously clean the air have also been implemented.
