Hi there! It’s been a while.
You may have noticed that I (Keeley RMT) have been extra quiet this 2026, but I’m writing to say, “I’m back. 😌”
I went through a rough season at the end of 2025 and into this year, when I put massaging on hold and started caring for myself, for the first time in what feels like forever.
As spring is just beginning to say hello, I am reemerging feeling more renewed and at peace.
Part of my renewal (going from seed in the mud to tender green shoot) has been the process of moving cities - from Pickering to Unionville (Markham), Ontario.
I am resuming seeing clients (yes, you!) at their homes within a 30-minute radius.
I have daytime openings on Good Friday & Easter Monday, too! (You can respond to this email to book in.)
I am also going to resume my clinical practice at Keyes to Health in South Pickering (750 Oklahoma Drive @ White’s & Bayly).
Keyes to Health is an inclusive multidisciplinary clinic offering chiropractic, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, and custom compression wear & orthotics.
Dr. Warren Keyes has been an important piece in my ongoing healing journey. In fact, I’ve been sending him clients for the past two years now, so I figured it was time to team up!
So, what are the details? What is your schedule for mobile and in-clinic appointments?
Great question. As I am still caring for my health and wellbeing (and will be, on an ongoing basis), I’m going to ask for your flexibility to help me find a balanced schedule so that I don’t burn out again.
These next couple of months may be a bit of an experiment for me, as my own physical wellbeing is essential in sustaining a hands-on profession like massage therapy.
As I’ve probably said to you once or a million times before, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
If I’ve learned one thing over my past months off that I can pass on to you, it’s this: I have to practice what I preach. I had/have to give myself grace, space, and a place to heal, so that I can show up for you. So that you can give yourself the same.
To me, an underestimated facet of massage therapy is the community that it can build. One where you can show up as your crappiest self and feel seen, heard and respected. One where we can build you a step-by-step plan to feel better in your body, taking into consideration what you most need treatment-to-treatment. One where you can lay in meditative silence for an hour, or cry, or laugh. (I will be crying and laughing with you, because that is community.)
So: Hi there. I’m back. And stepping forward into a better way of doing things. In this way, I hope to be the change I wish to see in the world. I invite you to join me on my massage table in this act of self-care and self-revolution.
