I have never shared this story this way before. But I really want to share this with you.

It's a story about my own life (warning: it's a bit of a tear-jerker).

In 2011, I was pregnant with my second pregnancy. I lost my first by miscarriage at 6 weeks. When we were 16 weeks pregnant the second time around, we thought we were in the "clear". We had 3 baby showers. Hundreds of friends celebrated with us. We were over the moon.

Until we lost our little baby boy, at 36 weeks, at delivery.

I tell you this story not to make you sad. But to tell you that I went into a place where I had no hope. My life was shattered. I was devastated. And I saw NO WAY out of this black hole I found myself in.

And today, I am a mother of 2 boys. I live my dream life. In my dream home. With my dream friends and family around me. And if you told me this was possible in 2011, on August 4, I would have never believed you.

Many have asked me how I got through that. How I healed. How I am so happy again.

Here's what I need you to know: you have all the power to turn your life around.

When I say that to coparents after divorce, often the first thought is "ya, but my ex is not cooperative. We cant communicate. S/he's so difficult."

As a divorce lawyer, I worked on over 1000 cases, from low to high conflict.

I kinda wanna say, "I've seen it ALL."

And I know how hard it can get. I know how frustrated you might feel.
