We have officially run out of our supply of feminine pads that we collected during our Period Dignity Drive during the first week of March. What an amazing accomplishment to have gathered enough supplies to support our clients for 9 months! Now, however our cupboard is bare and periods come monthly so we could use some help restocking our shelves until our next Period Dignity Drive in 2026.

If you can help, we would be very grateful!

We are also still collecting new and gently used winter coats, snow pants, snow suits and winter boots for boys and girls size 2T and 3T.

Drop off times: Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4pm

🌍 World Adoption Day – November 9

Today, on World Adoption Day, we recognize that adoption is both a beautiful expression of love and a journey marked by deep loss and courage.

We honour birth parents whose selfless decisions are often made with great sacrifice, adoptees who carry unique stories of identity and belonging, and adoptive families who open their hearts to love and nurture. 💛

Over the years we have been able to walk alongside families exploring what placing their child with another loving family might look like and helping them connect with a licensed adoption agency to continue their journey. We have also had the privilege of supporting families as they opened their hearts and homes to some very precious little ones through fostering, kinship, and adoption. At RISE, we hold space for the joy, grief, and hope that weave together every adoption story — trusting that love and compassion can bring healing to all.

*RISE is not a licensed adoption agency but can provide referrals as requested.

The Markham Stouffville Crisis Pregnancy Centre (MSCPC) is a charitable organization serving the southern area of York Region. Here at MSCPC we are dedicated to offering loving, factual and practical support and services to all individuals involved in crisis pregnancy, post-abortion or single parenting situations.

The MSCPC is made up of dedicated and caring staff, trained volunteers and an overseeing board of directors. Our organization is based on principles of love, mercy, grace, kindness and compassion.

We are committed to offering free and confidential services before, during and after unplanned pregnancies. We desire to be a safe place that offers care and support during unexpected or difficult circumstances.
