At Life Inspiration Psychotherapy, we are a family-based counselling service dedicated to supporting children, youth, couples, and families. At the heart of our work is the therapeutic relationship, we believe healing begins through a safe, trusting, and collaborative connection with your therapist. We work to identify symptoms and co-create personalized treatment plans that support meaningful insight and change. We believe healing happens through connection within yourself and within your relationships.

We are also the first clinic in Ontario to integrate a Zen tea room with a tea and mindfulness-based experiential foundation. We offer unique and hands-on therapeutic workshops for the community. 🧠人生其實沒有特定意義,因為由你自己賦予意義。我們生活中可能會面對挫折、困擾、迷惘等,可能會跟我們所預期的不一樣。往往並非由事件本身所決定,而是取決於我們如何詮釋及賦予其意義,更重要是你想怎樣去感知這個世界。當我們開始覺察自身的思維模式,例如對挫折的理解,這些認知已在影響我們的情緒與行為。換言之,改變未必在於改變外在世界,而是在於逐步調整我們理解與回應世界的方式。

🥊很多人會把恐懼感推開,有時會問自己,你會怎去定義恐懼感?其實它是一個身體訊號,害怕因為可能跟我們的核心信念不一樣。想起自己創業路上,可以走很多不同的方向,但永遠不是一條直線。信念對我很重要,有時要解決一些困局,當下會感到困擾,我試過告訴自己,可能是人生對我的考驗,知道我最不喜歡的事就要發生,學會在逆境中尋找新方向,不讓內在小孩失望。電影中提及,追夢的過程其實是人生的厚度,更是一面稜鏡,在賽道上,不是保證勝利,而是你想成為一個怎樣的對手。

💡Workshops are becoming an increasingly popular way to support emotional well-being. Research shows that group therapy can be just as effective as individual therapy for concerns like anxiety and depression. One of the key benefits is reducing stigma realizing “I’m not alone.” The healing power of group work often comes not only from the therapist, but from the meaningful connections formed between participants. Different formats such as art, hands-on activities, and mindfulness practices are used, all grounded in therapeutic principles.

🍵In our Zen tea workshops, we integrate mindfulness into the tea experience. Guided by a tea practitioner alongside a therapist, participants slow down and bring their attention to the present moment through the process of tea brewing. This practice encourages inner awareness, noticing bodily sensations, and gently accepting emotions.

One of the therapeutic Floral workshops offer another pathway to emotional support through creativity and mindfulness. By engaging with textures, colors, and scents, participants are invited to stay present while creating. This process can be deeply calming and provides a sense of quiet companionship. Sometimes, individuals also assign personal meaning to different elements of their arrangement, reflecting on life stages and experiences. Even at home, simple practices can help regulate emotions, the key is not perfection, but giving your body a sense of safety and slowing down with gentle awareness.

🌿 Polymer Clay Earrings Workshop - A Moment of Calm
In the chaos of life, our therapeutic workshop is an invitation to pause, to return to the present moment through mindful, hands-on creation.

Using polymer clay earring making as a grounding practice,
participants are guided to slow down, allow scattered thoughts and emotions to gently settle, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm and joy 🤍

✨With awareness, we explore the subtle changes of the five senses:
👀 Sight: colours, shapes, and visual details
👂 Sound: quiet rhythms or any sound
✋ Touch: the texture and temperature 
👃 Smell: gentle scents in the space
💭 Inner awareness: emotions, thoughts, and bodily sensations

Participants are free to choose their own designs, colours, and forms, creating a pair of one-of-a-kind earrings , a small but meaningful act of self care and self expression.

🧧Thank you to everyone who joined our Lunar New Year Polymer Clay Workshops.

In every session, we see participants setting their phones aside and gently returning to the present moment through handcrafting. By focusing on the creative process in front of them, experienced a sense of calm and grounding, reconnecting with themselves. During the creation of Lunar New Year decorations, it was so grateful to see how each participant created their own lucky cat in a unique and creative way, reflecting personal style and imagination. I also captured these quiet, focused moments through the lens moments of presence and stillness that felt deeply meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to our facilitator, Ann, for her patience and thoughtful guidance, allowing every participant to complete their own unique piece. We were also happy to see some participants continue their creative journey by booking private workshops afterward. To share the sense of fulfillment, focus, and therapeutic value that handcrafting can bring is in itself a truly meaningful experience.

We are so grateful to be the Official Mental Health & Performance Partner of the TRIMOTION Athlete Ambassador Scholarship Program 2025–2026 🏅it’s our pleasure to join the program, thank you Dr.Wong for having us .chiro 🫶🏻

🏃🏻‍♂️This selective scholarship supports high-performance athletes across Toronto not only in their athletic journey, but also through mental resilience and family support. Together with Aiden Co, one of our experienced therapists who works with youth and families on our team, I have the privilege of supporting both junior and elite athletes through group therapy and mental performance work.

🗣️I would like to share the favourite parts of this journey is creating space for emotional expression. For many athletes, putting feelings into words isn’t easy so we integrate visual, interactive, and experiential activities to support regulation, self-awareness, and parent coaching. Cyrus , one of the selected athletes from KC Badminton Club and Team Canada, is a great example of the dedication and growth mindset. It’s inspiring as an athletes develop not only skills and strength, but also emotional insight, confidence, and resilience. Truly grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside these athletes and families supporting both performance and mental well-being💙

真的很容易讓人感到特別鬱悶,由英國人稱這種感覺為 Blue Monday(憂鬱星期一)。

🫥常見的感受包括: 憂鬱、緊張、焦慮、疲倦、難以專心、易怒,有時甚至會出現頭痛、胸悶或噁心等身體反應。當我們長期處於焦慮狀態,身體會持續分泌壓力荷爾蒙(皮質醇),進而影響睡眠與情緒,形成惡性循環。

🌿 想讓星期一不那麼煎熬,可以試試:
▫️ 星期日安排較靜態的活動,避免太刺激影響睡眠
▫️ 提前為週一做一些心理準備,減少手忙腳亂的感覺
