Growing up at a young age I remember watching my older sister scrubbing & cleansing her face with her favorite skincare and applying her makeup. I was fascinated by how quickly this transformed her look, and immediately I fell in love with the art of Makeup.
As years went by, at the age of 18 years old, my cousin-in-law wanted me to help assist her with a wedding gig that she had to do. However, I had no idea how to apply makeup on clients, only on myself, so this was a bit of a challenge for me. Afterwards, as I applied the foundation, I felt at ease also as a social butterfly, I loved meeting new people. I realized from then, this was my element.
I went home, googled schools, next thing I knew I went to Marvel Beauty school. It was the best experience and I learned so much about the beauty industry. After graduating, I started putting my work out there. Social media was the key to exposing my art and knowledge of makeup/skincare.
I started my career with Salon Solis in Yorkville (The #1 Salon in Toronto, the wall street of beauty). It helped me enhance my skills for both makeup, hair and skincare. From then, I knew I need to upgrade my business knowledge and skills to be successful. That was when Corresmatic was born.
Moving forward, I met the love of my life David who brought sense and direction to my life. I shared my dream to him and he wanted to share that dream with me. We both invested in our first Mink Eyelash Line and this helped our down payment for our first condo together.
In 2018, I graduated from Canadian beauty college and now certified as a Medical Aesthetician.
Corresmatic holds a special place in my heart, and I want to inspire others to do what they love. Beauty is not only on the outside but it is also on the inside.
