Sacred Earth School

Sacred Earth School is on Saugeen-Ojibway territory in Ontario, Canada.

We offer classes and training program centred upon Insular Celtic (Brythonic and Gaelic), earth-based spirituality, ancestral reclamation, and decolonization.

We empower people to reclaim their own connection with their ancestors, and the sacred and natural world. Having confidence in your own ability to hear the voice of the sacred is the cornerstone of genuine spiritual practice.

For those of us who are living on land we are not Indigenous to, we place a heavy focus on Indigenous voices, reconciliation between non-indigenous and Indigenous peoples and supporting Indigenous resurgence.

We recognize that we are guests on Indigenous land, and that any spiritual practice we have requires that we honour the ancestors and descendants of the land.

Connection to the sacred and healing power of nature is an innate ability within all of us, yet modern society neglects these deep needs. Sacred Earth School offers powerful ways to relearn and restore this ancient wisdom that lies within all of us.

Sacred Earth community members honour nature and the wild as humanity’s oldest religion, devotion of which is our birthright

We honour the land we are on, and the traditional peoples of the land. We work towards reconciliation, disrupting dynamics of privilege and oppression, and Indigenous resurgence.

We do not see the world as a series of mechanistic parts that are ours to dismantle at will; instead, we recognize that all things in the universe have experiences and awareness of their own, and that we are only one part of the great web of life

We understand that the direct sensory relationships we can have with nature are the basis of all wisdom and ecstatic experience

We seek to build deep and loving relationships with the natural world, and trust our own ability to communicate with nature with our hearts and minds

We know that healing involves the spiritual and energetic aspects of life as much as the physical

We rely on our relationships with the consciousness of nature, spirits, and ancestors in the unseen realms to guide us
