Psynergy Centre is an innovative integrative wellness facility on the banks of the South Saskatchewan river that brings multimodal interventions and approaches together aiming for well-coordinated care among different collaborative providers including psychologists, social workers, clinical counsellors, medical professionals, neuroscience, trauma informed body workers, energy healers, yoga instructors, biofeedback practitioners, nutritionists and sound therapists. By bringing together both conventional and complementary approaches guided by centuries of indigenous knowledge, clients are empowered to trust their innate healing wisdom to improve and restore their health interconnectedly; mind, body, and spirit. The therapy space is a great non-judgemental and neutral environment for us to explore all parts of ourselves. It can be a bit scary to open up and say hi to the parts we usually keep in the dark, but like Janina Fisher says here, showing interest and curiosity is the first step in opening that door and starting that ‘relationship.’
