Finally got on Shorty at the new barn 😊😊 and as always he was a perfect angel 😇

Definitely been a few months since I sat on him so he wanted to go! Even tried to trot a cross rail the brave man!

So proud of this boy, thank you for everything you do 🥰💙💙

Finally finished a full day of schooling and had a blast!! Made it almost every jump and Kelso was a Rockstar! So happy 😊

While I love all the progress I've been having. I still miss you.

Even though it's been over a year. I still miss you.

You built my confidence, you taught me, you made me, I wouldn't be the person I am today without you.

While I am moving forward I will never forget who brought me here.

Well we finally got on the project pony and got a video of it... everyone meet "Shorty".

Standing at approx 17hh Shorty is 6 years old who I am backing with the help of my coach. This was the first time we trotted and the first .3 seconds was the end of a buck 😅 he got a little unbalanced and didn't like it haha!

Shorty is the first horse I have worked from the ground up so everything has been a slow go and mainly a lot of groundwork and gaining trust as he's still learning and with that learning how to spook and handle situations!

Keep an eye out for more Shorty videos and hopefully 🤞 no spills!

Push your limits and imagine yourself three months from now.

There have been so many times where I have told myself "oh I'll start tomorrow" or "oh I wish I could be there now". The start is always the hardest part and finding the motivation to just get up and go.

Sometimes the biggest motivation is that you know it will make you happy in the end.

Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.
