What is here for you in this moment?

Inviting you to place a hand over your heart.
Slowly deepen your breath.
Inhaling expanding your chest. Opening your shoulders.

Sending that inhale to your heart space.
Slowly exhaling.
Pushing all of the air out.

Inhaling through your nose feeling your posture open.
Your back lengthen, your face slightly shift towards the sky.

Slowly exhaling through the mouth.

Offering a moment for your shoulders to soften.
Breathing into your heart.
Exhaling and softening.
Repeat as many times as you choose.

Your heart matters. I love you. 🤍

Your nervous system has an important job of keeping you safe.

If you have been in a dysregulated state for a long period of time, this has become its new safe place. It will try to keep you there. This is why it may be difficult to do something new or different. If may look like not wanting to slow down, it may look like waking up exhausted after a full nights sleep.

Regulation for you may look different from the body sitting beside you. Every body is different. Different states, different needs. Ways to regulate is not one size fits all.

Breathwork shifts your nervous system from survival to rest and digest. This is one way to regulate.
