Do you give yourself space to express?

Sometimes we attach a story to certain emotions.
I’m weak if I’m nervous.
I shouldn’t be mad.
Boys don’t cry.

Sometimes we have experienced a negative outcome if we expressed a certain emotion. It may have been unsafe.
Sent to a corner, sent away.

Told we are too much.
Too sensitive.
Too loud.
Not strong enough.

Your emotions matter.
Your feelings deserve space to be expressed.

Let your eyes leak.
Let your body move.
Shake, stomp, dance.
Use your voice.
Sing, scream, hum, chant.

Breathwork can support you in processing and expressing emotions. It connects you with your body.

Sometimes I feel like my mind says one thing and my body says another.

My mind says, "I'm fine."
My body say, " I'm tired."

I am learning to listen and honor my body and mind.

Starting with my body.
Connecting with my breath.
Allowing all my thoughts to be here.
To be heard.
Bringing my awareness to my body.
Allowing my sensations to be felt.
My breath deepening the connection between my mind and body.

Taking this time to tune in and connect allows me to trust my body's wisdom.

To have compassion for the parts that say, " I'm fine," when under the surface feels different.

Allowing space for more rest.
It's ok to be tired, it's ok to not feel fine.

More nourishment.
More compassion.

Breathing into connection.
Connection with your breath.
Your mind.
Your heart.
Your body.

Your body holds deep wisdom.
Your breath is your connection to truth.

Sending you all the love.
