🚗 Throwback Thursday 🚗
This image from 1912 depicts 12 new Oakland cars lined up on North Railway street.
The 1912 Oakland was a stylish, high-quality vehicle produced by the Oakland Motor Car Company, a founding division of General Motors, known for its “Car with a Conscience” marketing.
They were considered desirable “Brass Era” vehicles, with surviving examples frequently participating in veteran car tours.
Having 12 of these pull up on North Railway Street would have been quite the sight to see in 1912 👀
