People were using wheeled chairs to transport individuals as far back as ancient China and Greece, and by the 1500s wheelchairs were already being custom-built. In 1655, the first self-propelled wheelchair gave users independent mobility.

🚲 Bicycles didn’t appear until much later, with early versions showing up in the late 1700s and pedal-powered bikes arriving in the 1800s.

Happy Birthday to the one and only Trevor! 🎉
Trevor hits 47 today, and we’re celebrating the guy who puts heart into everything he does.

Born in Bow Island and settled in Medicine Hat at 19, Trevor stepped into the mobility industry at 21 and never looked back. He’s been helping people stay mobile and independent ever since - always with creativity, patience, and a “we’ll figure it out!” attitude. 🙌🏻

In 2017, he and Crystal opened Adapt Mobility, turning their vision into a place that truly cares about the community. 💚

Outside of work, Trevor can be found tinkering with cars, hanging out with his family, or deeply committed to beating just one more level on Homescapes. 💁🏻‍♀️📱

We appreciate you and all the hard work you put into our community and this company. We hope you have the best birthday! 🎂🎉

We had such a great night celebrating at dinner and enjoying an incredible dueling pianos show! 💃🎹
