If you’re already stressed and overwhelmed, adding more nervous system tools can actually slow your healing.
You can include all the “right” things in your healing protocol — but just because something is beneficial doesn’t mean it’s beneficial for YOU right now.
When your system is already overwhelmed and dysregulated, adding more “stuff” often creates more pressure. More to track. More to think about. More urgency. More to do. More to get 'right'. And that, in itself, is stress on the body.
Nervous system healing isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about:

💜Doing less, but consistently.
💜Doing what feels manageable without adding stress.
💜Doing without trying to change the outcome or to speed up healing.
💜Simplifying, not intensifying.
