Celebrating my 8th year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. I could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉 Or my specialists and Friends along my way. In memory of a dear Friend who passed from pancreatic cancer in 2021, Barbara Pelletier you we're that gentle nonjudgemental soul who guided me along this unforgiving journey I've walked. And in fondest support of Cypress Canine Society who walked with me and it's founder Doug Murray, you saw past the anger and outburts I'd have and again you knew where they were coming from. Bless your soul my dear.
And to other's I had met while going through the surgery at Foothills Epilepsy Clinic, you know who you are. So Thankful for everyone of you. And to Richard Gale who I have to mention had turned a dream of mine into the mere mention of wanting to share my Epilepsy Know website and journey. Thanking you so much for that push in the right direction.
There's so many people to thank, and the people who knew of my surgery and offered up prayer's for me. So greatly appreciated. Rose Cyr, you were one who stopped everyone in the foyer if you're church in Sault Ste Marie Ontario, so many thanks. And to Kathy St Bastian you had a knitted toque blessed in your Native way, it still sits on the hook in my hallway waiting to be used again. And to Be**er Holbrook and his Mother Lana Pryce, another Christian I had praying for my best. We've had quite the walk through this journey and to help you with your Son Be**er, wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
And a few more than more than deserves recognition, Lee Will Manhalt , Angela Luxx Man, Michael Goben, Angel Jones, Jamie Ott Blom, and to the Epilepsy Groups all over, so many thanks. I had also included MS and TB in my group as they both have an invisible disability. So glad to have you on board.
It sure doesn't feel like it's been 8 year's, and for my Son's and Gordon Grasley and James Grasley it really was a horrible thing to witness your Mother having seizures as you grew up, but we persevered and survived.
Giving up was never an option so it's onward and forward we go.

I seem to be having issues today and checked the barometric pressure. And it was low so that would be the cause. Uggggh please take care and pay attention to your weather pattern changes.

I wanted to put shout-out to people who have Epilepsy. I had found out that it is common for people who have Epilepsy to experience mini strokes. Has anyone had any experience with talking after having a seizure??? The joys of getting older definitely challenging. Ask your neurologist about this , as not only was I high risk of SUDEP, now I find out there is a connection between Epilepsy and mini strokes.

Thanking Kelly Bonnett for sharing this out. Had to repost in consideration for everyone who has a " hidden disability " . Many thanks my dear posted this to my Epilepsy Know website. All the best to everyone out there who has to face these judgemental people.

Having a handicap license pass displayed on my mirror (or someone close to you) parked and got out of the car, I had this lady say to me, "well, you look perfectly normal to me!", as I turned to look at her and said, very seriously, "maybe that's part of the problem, you can't see what's lurking under my shell." The look on her face was priceless! Just because YOU can't SEE it doesn't mean it doesn't exist! Until you have walked in our shoes and have felt the pain we feel, keep your cruel and ignorant comments and opinions to yourself. I'm posting to stop people from mocking and laughing at people for things beyond their control...
Not one of my Facebook friends will copy and paste (but I am counting on a true family member or friend to do it). If you would be there no matter what then copy and paste this. I'm doing this to prove a friend wrong that someone is always listening. I care.
Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside.
