Lacey will be away for a while but everyone else is still around and available to book with!

As most of my clients already know, I will be taking an extended holiday this year. As I will be travelling out of country, I will not be able to answer any calls or messages as of tomorrow night until the beginning of October. If you have any questions about your upcoming appointments in the fall or have any other inquiries, please feel free to contact the clinic at 403-527-7006 and one of the other girls can help you out! They are also available to book appointments with while I am away (pending availability). I am still reachable by messaging this page, if need be. It may just take me a bit to respond.

I will be opening up booking for 2025 when I get back, so if you would like to secure your appointments for the new year, you can message or call me in mid-October to do that.

I just want to thank all of my clients for being so understanding and supportive of me taking this extended amount of time off. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer, and I can't wait to see everyone when I get back!!

Just a reminder that construction has started downtown this week. Navigating downtown and finding parking is going to take a little longer, so please give yourself extra time to get here for your appointments! 👷‍♂️🚧

For people who have appointments booked with us this spring/summer, please keep in mind that downtown will be under construction to replace aging water and sewer pipes. Even though majority of the work will be happening on 3rd street, the route to get to our clinic and the parking will be affected by this. Work is scheduled to begin late April, so please give yourself extra time to get here and find parking before your scheduled appointment time to ensure you don't lose out on any precious massage minutes! Beginning in 2024, the City of Medicine Hat will be replacing the aging water and sewer infrastructure along 3rd Street SE to ensure a reliable and sustainable utility network for the future.

Congratulations to Becca Sehn on graduating from the Southern Alberta Institute of Massage! 🥳 Becca has been working in Synergy Wellness Centre as a student therapist for most of 2022. She graduated from the program in December and is now a 2200 hour Registered Massage Therapist along with having her BSc in Kinesiology. She is claimable through all benefit plans and is able to direct bill for many of them as well. As of an update on July 1st from our association, we no longer have to adhere to our "Infection Prevention and Control Manual for Massage Therapists in Alberta".

This means that we will no longer be requiring clients to wear masks in the clinic. If you feel more comfortable wearing one, feel free however it will not be mandatory. As for therapists masking, that is no longer required of us either. Your therapist may still choose to wear one or they may not so if you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact your therapist directly.

We still ask that if you are experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms to please call and cancel/reschedule your appointment. No fee will be charged for late cancellations due to illness.

For anyone wondering what our COVID protocols are going to be with Stage 3 coming, there won't be any changes within our clinic quite yet. We appreciate everyone's patience and willingness to follow our protocols thus far and in following our associations recommendations, I am hoping everyone can hang on a little bit longer with us!

Sharron just recently moved to Medicine Hat from Nova Scotia. She has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 10 years. She is fully claimable through insurance and is able to direct bill for many benefit plans.
