🎄 Christmas Is Coming. Keep Your Dog Safe & Calm This Holiday Season! 🐾
The holidays are fun but BUSY. Decorations, guests, food, errands, parties, and last-minute prep can make things chaotic for pets. A few quick tips can help keep your dog safe and avoid extra stress for you.
🎄 Holiday Safety Basics
Decorations: Keep ornaments, tinsel, and cords out of reach. Secure your tree so it can’t tip over.
Food Hazards: Avoid table scraps. Chocolate, grapes/raisins, onions, poultry bones, alcohol, and rich foods can all be dangerous.
Guests & Doors: Introduce visitors slowly, watch open doors and set up a quiet retreat space where your dog can relax.
Routine: Stick to your dog’s usual feeding and walking schedule as much as possible.
🐕 Burn Off Energy Before Guests Arrive
A good walk before company comes can make a huge difference. Having calmer greetings, less hyper energy results in a happier dog and less stress for you!
That’s where my Dog Walking Service can help!
If your holiday calendar is packed with office parties, family dinners, church services, and shopping, I can take your dog out for a solid, structured walk so they’re relaxed and out of the house for a bit. It's one less thing for you to worry about and creates a safer, smoother holiday for your pup.
