I received this beautiful story this morning and was given permission to share.
"A big bouquet and infinite thanks to Dr. Levendall and all the ER staff, Lab and X-ray staff that were working the evening of April 17,2025! My wife Barbara Larson had a severe heart attack about 7pm. With in minutes after arriving at the hospital, she was surrounded by a great Dr and great staff. They did a super job stabilizing Barb for the ambulance. We were told she was very fortunate that she got to the hospital when we did.
Then the ambulance staff with their expertise whisked her off to Saskatoon where she was well looked after by the cardiologists and staff. It was so great to hear what Dr. Frost said. He told her she was a lucky lady for two reasons
1 She got to the hospital when she did!
2 That Melfort Hospital and staff did exactly what they needed to do!
So great to hear the well earned praise about our Melfort Hospital and staff!
Once again kudos to Melfort Hospital and staff, ambulance staff and RUH Doctors and staff for saving my love! My wife!"
We are so blessed and grateful to have such wonderful healthcare in Melfort. Wishing Barb a speedy recovery.
