We are absolutely thrilled and deeply grateful to share the incredible results from Dancing with the Stars…

🎉 A total of $100,101.00 has been raised to support pediatric trauma equipment! 🎉

Whew!!! Where to begin! About our huge fundraiser last night, Dancing in the Stars has exceeded everyone's expectations. I was so busy absorbing the atmosphere, the hype, the passion, and fun of it all...I decided to leave the picture taking to Broad Leaf Media. There will be numerous follow-ups to come once all the bills are paid and donations are received, but for now, here are a few snaps that I did manage to take during all of my excitement. To all of the dancers, the support dancers, the judges, Darlene & Cal, the auctioneer, the cadets, the Mustangs, the Youth Evolution, the caterers, the Dental Group photo booth, the Piper & Kins, ALL the sponsors and donors, the folks that attended and supported our raffles, auctions, bar, the KVC staff for being so accommodating and all the volunteers that helped with setup and cleanup.... Just know that you have all contributed to the future enhancement of healthcare in our area. The proceeds from this event will provide funds to purchase needed pediatric equipment, allowing our fabulous medical staff to work more effectively and efficiently.

Locally, our Volunteer Board is heading into an exciting time. As we continue to grow and our responsibilities expand, we’ve reached a point where it is no longer sustainable to rely solely on volunteer leadership. To ensure we can continue to fulfill our mission effectively and with focus, after twenty-two years of operating strictly by volunteers, we have now hired a dedicated individual to handle key aspects of the Foundation’s day-to-day operations. Drumroll, please, and a great big warm welcome to our new Executive Director, Sarah Taylor. Another significant change to the face of our Foundation is the election of Monica Slobodzian as Chair.
