Brenda has been a member of Life Beyond Your Diet group since it began, and has made many powerful changes in her life!
1. She has let go of the need to go on another diet! This is huge because before Brenda spent endless hours a day thinking about what foods to eat, how much to eat, & worse, what foods she couldn't have! She avoided social gatherings & if she did, her focus wasn't on having fun. She was busy resisting the food!
2. She has implemented the #1 strategy that I teach - awareness of self! So now, when she notices herself eating when she's not hungry, she stops and asks herself if she really needs to eat right now. And most times, she is able to put the food down. Sometimes she decides, yes she does want to eat, & gives herself permission. And this helps her to eat a whole lot less!
3. She has learned that she needs to care for herself better, to care for her inner child more! And when she focuses on that, she wants to care for her body better.
4. She focuses on eating high quality foods, slowing down when she's eating, managing her stress, and looks for ways she can indulge herself without using food!
