Vancouver Island is full of beautiful lakes to enjoy this time of year—but before you dive in, here are a few friendly reminders!

🧼 Check for swimming advisories before heading into the water.
🧴 After swimming, towel off completely—don’t let lake water dry on your skin. This simple step can help prevent Swimmer’s Itch, a common and itchy rash that can show up after lake swims.

We’ve attached some helpful tips and info to help keep your summer swimming safe and comfortable. 🏊‍♂️☀️
