No filter.

The story: where to begin? Browsing threads I came across and his incomparable photos of Canada. I commented in a beautiful shot of Banff from the top of the gondola (I gave my buddy a shout out!) and we went back and forth on purchasing the photo. I started browsing some of his other works and stopped in my tracks when I saw this one. My MIL’s favourite flower with a stunning backdrop. As much as I loved Banff this one just spoke to me. She was such a supporter of Little Nugget and was just so proud of me for stepping out of my comfort zone. So this was the one I purchased. I will put one in my stairway at home but there will also be one in my office to always remember her by. ❀ đŸŒ» 🌈

Happy International Women’s day to all the strong, confident, smart, beautiful, talented women in my life. Thank you for standing by me and for supporting me through all my wild ideas (“quit my job and go private!!”) and just for being there behind the scenes too.

On this international women’s day, I’m reminded of something my doctor told me: “Women can have it all, just not at the same time” and that just really helped me put everything in perspective. One step at a time and you’ll always feel successful.
