I always load up on the toppings — especially lemon juice, horseradish, and other digestion-supportive condiments — anytime I’m eating raw foods.
These aren’t “just toppings.”
They actually support stomach acid production, help your body break down proteins, and naturally boost digestive enzymes.

There’s a reason cultures pair certain foods together.
It’s not random — it’s functional.

The same as to why sushi comes with ginger and wasabi because:
• They stimulate digestive fire

I didn’t become a gut health coach because everything was easy for me — I became one because for years, my body felt like it was fighting me.

I remember what it was like to wake up already bloated, to feel constipated and uncomfortable no matter what I ate, and to have every plan revolve around how my stomach might react that day.

It wasn’t just physical — it consumed my thoughts. Every decision, every social event, every meal was filtered through the question: “How will I feel after this?”
That constant hyper-vigilance was dysregulating my nervous system, keeping my body in a state of stress that made healing nearly impossible.

The turning point came when I stopped chasing quick fixes and started understanding how the body actually works.
