Today we remember all MMIWG2S+ people and their families who have been so unfairly impacted by violence.

Today is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2 Spirit people (MMIWG2S+), also known as Red Dress Day.

A day to recognize, honour, and remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, 2-spirit, and gender diverse people, and bring awareness to the thousands of those who have been subject to disproportionate violence in Canada.
Please join us in remembering all MMIWG2S+ people and their families who have been so unfairly impacted by violence.

Later this month, the annual Moose Hide Campaign Day is on May 14th. This Indigenous-led grassroots movement engages men and boys in taking a stand and working towards ending violence against women, children, and intimate partners.

The moose hide represents a commitment to protection, and honoring Indigenous, traditional, and land-based knowledge.
