During our recent Team Giving Week, 158 members of the Georgian Bay General Hospital team stepped forward to give back to the place where they care for others every day. 🌟 Together, they pledged an incredible $56,000 to support vital equipment, technology, and resources for patient care close to home.

It’s a powerful reminder that the people delivering care here also believe deeply in strengthening it.

With deep sadness, we join our community in remembering the life and legacy of Dr. Andi Jones.

As the hospital's first full-time female emergency physician, Dr. Jones helped open doors for future generations of physicians while setting the highest standard of care.

In recognition of her incredible impact, GBGH recently named the hospital's trauma and resuscitation room in Dr. Jones' honour -- a tribute the Emergency Department team was grateful to share with her before her passing.

We are profoundly grateful for Dr. Jones' legacy and the care she gave so selflessly to our community. ❤
